Article Processing Charge

The publication costs of the journal are supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs), which are payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. There are no fees for manuscript submission, initial review, or peer review.

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) is USD 1600 per accepted manuscript (plus applicable taxes).

To promote equitable access to scholarly publishing, Revista Bioetica offers discounted APCs based on the World Bank country income classification:

• Middle-income countries: USD 650 per accepted manuscript (plus applicable taxes).
• Low-income countries: USD 250 per accepted manuscript (plus applicable taxes).

The applicable APC is determined according to the corresponding author's country of affiliation, based on the latest World Bank income classification at the time of manuscript acceptance.
