Women's economic empowerment plays a critical role in promoting inclusive growth and sustainable development. Despite improvements in education and workforce participation, women continue to face barriers such as wage inequality, occupational segregation, limited financial resources, and discriminatory social norms. This research examines the relationship between gender equality policies and women's economic participation in developing societies. Through comparative analysis of employment data, government policies, and case studies, the study identifies factors that encourage women's entrepreneurship, financial independence, and leadership opportunities. The findings indicate that access to education, microfinance, legal protection, and supportive workplace policies significantly improve women's economic outcomes. However, cultural expectations and institutional discrimination continue to restrict equal opportunities. The study recommends gender-responsive public policies, investment in women's education, and stronger legal frameworks to achieve long-term economic and social equality.
