Abstract

Income inequality has become a growing concern for policymakers due to its impact on economic stability and social cohesion. This study examines the relationship between income distribution and various indicators of social well-being, including health, education, employment, and social trust. It compares countries with different levels of economic inequality to identify patterns affecting quality of life and social mobility. Statistical analysis reveals that societies with lower income inequality generally experience higher levels of public trust, better health outcomes, and stronger educational performance. The study emphasizes the importance of progressive taxation, inclusive economic policies, and investment in public services to reduce inequality and promote sustainable development.
