Abstract

Mental health has become an increasingly significant concern among university students due to academic pressure, social expectations, financial difficulties, and lifestyle changes. This study examines the prevalence of mental health challenges in higher education and evaluates institutional strategies designed to support student well-being. Through a review of existing research, the study identifies anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional exhaustion as common psychological concerns affecting academic performance. The research emphasizes the importance of counseling services, peer support programs, mental health education, and digital wellness initiatives in promoting psychological resilience. It also discusses the role of educators in recognizing early warning signs and creating supportive learning environments.
