Digital Transformation in Media: A Study of Organizational Management Challenges

This research focused on Digital Transformation in Media and the challenges of organizational management in the Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State. A quantitative research method was utilized, employing a descriptive survey design. From a total population of 5,000,000, a sample of 200 respondents was chosen. Data collection was conducted through a structured questionnaire using a four-point Likert scale with options for Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. Results showed that digital technologies have greatly altered media operations and organizational structures. Additionally, the study revealed that management support, employee training, effective leadership, and employee involvement are crucial for successful digital transformation. Digital transformation was found to enhance organizational efficiency and competitiveness, though the swift pace of technological advancements posed challenges for long-term strategic planning. The study concluded that effective leadership, ongoing training, employee engagement, and adaptable strategic planning are essential for successful digital transformation in media organizations.
