Mass media significantly influences societal attitudes toward gender by shaping perceptions of masculinity, femininity, and gender equality. This study examines how television, films, advertisements, and social media portray gender roles and how these portrayals affect public attitudes and behavior. Using content analysis and audience surveys, the research evaluates stereotypes, representation, and diversity in media content. The findings reveal that while media increasingly promotes gender equality, traditional stereotypes continue to influence audience perceptions. The study concludes that responsible media representation and inclusive storytelling are essential for promoting gender equity and reducing discrimination.
